As the busiest library in Finland, the Turku Main Library provides its customers with a wide and varied collection of library materials in both printed and electronic form. It consists of three buildings first of which was built in 1903, and the second in 2007. The third building is nowadays a cafe but was first build in 1818 to operate as a governor’s office. Exhibitions and events take place in the Main Library every day.
