Tero Nauha

Hello. I am a voice. Voice pressed on matter that is called plastic. I am groovy and delicate. This performance explores the thoughts of Theremin, vinyl records, oceanic, jaguars and few other colleagues of mine. I ask: how performance thinks? So, it is kind of an abstract and virtual performance what I call it fictioning, and not fiction. There is no way to determine what fictioning would be, or what kind of voice I am, but only that fictioning leaves different traces than fiction.

Tero Nauha is an artist and a postodoctoral fellow at the Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies. He is a participant of a Finnish Academy funded postdoctoral research project ‘How To Do Things With Performance’, also. He defended his doctoral research at the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts in Helsinki in January 2016. In 2015, he published his first fiction novel Heresy & Provocation for a Swedish publishing house Förlaget.
